For a second straight week Ar-We-Va was able to establish their ground game, along with having a lot of success throwing the ball, cruising to a win over West Harrison/Whiting. The Rockets ripped off 27-points in the 1st quarter and were up 49-0 at half. They controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, forcing the Hawkeyes to throw the ball, getting two interceptions, including a pick six from Wyatt Ragaller, who returned it 54-yards for a touchdown. Jonathan Riesselman set up another Rockets touchdown with an interception. The defensive front and linebackers were able to control Nolan Birdsall in the run game, forcing them to throw the ball. Blayne Smith was nearly perfect passing the ball, going 8-8 for 129-yards with four touchdowns. Wyatt Ragaller carried the ball 10 times for 177-yards with 3 touchdowns and Wade Ragaller added 4 catches for 65-yards with a pair of touchdowns. Tyson Von Glan paced the defense with 8.5 tackles and Devon Ehlers added 7 tackles.

The Rockets improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in districts as they head to Woodbine on Friday.
