The IKM-Manning Wolves held the lead early but fell on the road in week three at Earlham. The Wolves came into the game 2-0 and 1-0 in district play. IKM-Manning scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, and they would have a 12-6 lead going to the second. Earlham came out and was able to run the football in the second quarter, as they would take a 20-12 lead going into the locker room. IKM-Manning ran the football for over 180 yards in the game. Both teams would get a touchdown in the third quarter, but Earlham would hold onto their lead at 34-18 going to the fourth. The Cardinals would add another touchdown in the fourth quarter as they would go on to beat IKM-Manning 40-18.
Davis Rasmussen and Ben Langel each ran for 78 yards in the loss. Ben Ramsey was 8-16 in the game for 109 yards and an interception. Wyatt Danner was the leading receiver for the Wolves. Danner recorded 5 receptions for 74 yards. Rasmussen added nine tackles on defense, which led the Wolves. Carson Perdew recorded five tackles for IKM-Manning. With the loss, the Wolves fall to 2-1. IKM-Manning is back in action on Friday against Riverside.
