Girls Cross Country Results Saturday, September 14th
Ar-We-Va, East Sac, IKM-Manning, Kuemper and South Central Calhoun At Tim Thomas Classic At Ridge View
Kaci Wiederien had another strong showing for Kuemper, taking 16th in 22:03.99. She was just over two seconds out of 15th place. The Knights finished 11th as a team with 228-points. Sioux Center won the meet with 42-points, easily ahead of MOC Floyd Valley with 62-points. Addison Bertrand of Bishop Heelan was the individual champ, running a 19:35.40, winning by over twenty seconds.
Emily Albertsen and Raegan Garrison ran with each other for IKM-Manning, finishing in 24th and 25th place with Albertsen leading the way with a 22:09.29, edging Garrison, who ran a 22:09.55. They helped the Wolves finish 6th with 148-points, just behind 5th place Lawton Bronson, which scored 144-pionts. Bre Patterson paced the Titans in 53rd place, with a 24:29.89. South Central Calhoun finished in 10th place with 262-points. Libbie Veit was the only runner for East Sac, taking 52nd place in 24:25.02 and Gabrielle Hundling was the top runner for Ar-We-Va, which ran two girls. Hundling was 68th in 25:19.87.
