East Sac, IKM-Manning, South Central Calhoun, Kuemper and Ar-We-Va At Ridge View-Tim Thomas Classic
Redge Potts ran great for South Central Calhoun, taking 2nd place in 16:56.64 in the Class B varsity race. Potts was 0:10 behind the winner in Anthony Valles of St Edmond and nearly two seconds in front of 3rd place finisher Thatcher Oswald of Manson NW Webster. East Sac was the top area team, taking 8th place with 195-points. The Raiders had three runners in the top 17 with Landon Sporrer leading the way in 8th place with a 17:23.36 and Owen Engel taking 14th place. Riley Aragon added a 17th place finish for the Raiders. Isaac Blankman led the Wolves of IKM-Manning, finishing in 25th place, running a 18:35.02, helping the team finish in 10th place with 208-points. The Wolves added Camden Morris in 27th place. Weston Toft lead Ar-We-Va, which had two runners. He finished in 57th place in 20:13.01.
Dayton Wiederien paced the Knights in the Class A varsity race, taking 3rd place in 17:02.13, behind only Kuma Gutema of Sioux City North in 16:14.70 and Gunner Wagner of Woodbine in 16:49.59. Wiederien teamed with Fletch Badding to give the Knights two runners in the top 23 with Badding finishing 23rd. Kuemper was 6th as team with 166-points, edging Sergeant Bluff Luton, which finished with 180-points.
