The Ar-We-Va Rockets pick up their second win of the season with a win on the road at Siouxland Christian. The Rockets led the whole game. Ar-We-Va was able to score 20 points in the first quarter as they took a 20-0 lead early in the game. Another big quarter came for the Rockets in the second as they added 21 points to grow their lead to 41-0 at the half. Ar-We-Va outscored Siouxland Christian in every quarter. Another touchdown would be added to the scoreboard as Ar-We-Va would add to their lead. Going to the fourth quarter, the Rockets would lead 47-0. Ar-We-Va would add a couple more touchdowns in the fourth as they would go on to win 60-8.
The Rocket’s offense was tough to stop, as they totaled 496 yards. Blayne Smith was 12-16 for 261 yards and five touchdowns through the air. Wade Ragaller was the leading rusher in the win with 112 yards and two touchdowns. Ragaller also added 108 yards receiving for two more touchdowns. Wyatt Ragaller carried the ball for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Wyatt was the leading receiver for the Rockets with 118 yards and three touchdowns. Tyson VonGlan was the leader on defense with six tackles in the win. With the win, Ar-We-Va improves to 2-1. The Rockets are back in action on Friday against West Harrison.
