The Carroll Girls Swim team opened their season on Thursday as Des Moines Lincoln traveled to Carroll. Only four girls swam for the Tigers, and all were freshmen. To start the event, Carroll finished in second in the 200 medley relays, swimming with a time of 2:28.57. Alexis Borkowski finished in third place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:58.95. Brylie Behrens finished in second in the 100-fly swimming with a time of 1:12.62. Behrens also picked up a second-place finish in the 100 breast with a time off of 1:21.26. The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday against Lewis Central.
