Kuemper was impressive in a dominant win on the road Friday night, blowing the game open with a 21-point 3rd quarter. The defense was just as strong, picking off the Eagles four times with Griffin Glynn leading the way with two interceptions. They added a fumble recovery to the total, forcing Underwood into five turnovers.

Sean Healy started the scoring for Kuemper, punching it in from a yard out to put them up 7-0 midway through the 1st quarter. Underwood responded with a touchdown, tying the game at 7 after the 1st quarter. The Knights began taking charge of the game in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Eagles 14-7 to lead 21-14 at half. The Eagles made one last push, scoring a touchdown, then recovering an onside kick with just over a minute left in the game. The Knights held and closed out the win, improving to 1-1 on the season.
