IKM-Manning earned a hard fought win with a nice defensive performance at home on Friday night, holding the Panthers to 161-yards of total offense. Panorama was held to 77-yards on the ground and 84-yards passing while the Wolves offense racked up 262-yards on the ground. They turned that efficiency into a touchdown in the 1st quarter but only led 7-0 at half. IKM-Manning separated themselves in the 3rd quarter with a pair of touchdowns. A pair of fumbles and two interceptions kept the Wolves from stretching the lead.

Ben Langel capped a 35-yard, 8-play drive in the 1st quarter putting the Wolves up 7-0 with 7:34 remaining. They would score again until the 3rd quarter when Langel punched it in from 3-yards out, ending a 8-play, 76-yard drive. That pushed the lead to 14-0. The lead grew to 20-0 late in the 1st quarter as Davis Rasmussen scored on a 10-yard run, finishing off a 8-play, 48-yard drive. The Wolves did a nice job taking advantage of the short field the defense provided with Wyatt Danner recovering a fumble and Ashton Ahrenholtz picking off a Panther pass. The defense forced Panorama to punt five times.

IKM-Manning improves to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in district. They travel to Earlham on Friday.
