Boys Cross Country Results For Thursday, September 5th
Kuemper at Spirit Lake
The Kuemper Knights finish in ninth place as a team in a loaded field at Spirit Lake on Thursday. As a team, Kuemper totaled 214 points. Dayton Wiederien was the top finisher for the Knights, coming in seventh, running a time of 17:00.17. Fletch Badding finished in 43rd with a time of 18:37.45. Evan Schaefer was third on the Kuemper team, finishing with a time of 19:04.30, which was good for 57th overall. Forest City won the meet, coming in first place in the team race with 74 points. Brandon Hughes of Spirt Lake finished in first individually.

Audubon, IKM-Manning, and East Sac County at Logan-Magnolia
Three area teams competed at Logan-Magnolia on Thursday in Cross Country. IKM-Manning and East Sac County finished third and fourth in the team standings. Broday Schultes of Audubon was the only Wheelers runner, and he finished in 53rd running at 21:41.64. IKM-Manning finished in third place in the team race, recording 80 total points. Isaac Blankman was the highest finisher on the Wolves, coming in 14th with a time of 18:25.14. Camden Morris and Abe Polzien also finished in the top 20 for IKM-Manning. Morris finished in 17th with a time of 18:38.41. Polzien finished in 20th, running a time of 19:10.26 for the Wolves. East Sac County finished in fourth place as a team with 91 points. Landon Sporrer finished in third plae with a time of 17:36.64. Riley Aragon finished in seventh place for the Raiders, running a time of 17:58.22. Owen Engel also finished in the top ten for the Raiders, coming in eighth place with a time of 18:01.06.
