Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Kuemper Boys Cross Country With Strong Start At Glenwood

Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, August 31st 

Kuemper At Glenwood Invitational 

The Kuemper boys started the season with an impressive team showing, taking 3rd place with 97-points, trailing only Red Oak with 79-points and champion Lewis Central, which finished with 23-points. The Titans had the top 3 finishers and five of the top 10. Dayton Wiederien paced the Knights, taking 4th place with a 16:39.11, giving the Knights a runner in  the top 10. He was able to run with the top group, finishing eleven seconds ahead of the 5th place runner. Fletch Badding and Thomas Pottebaum gave the Knights two more runners in the top 20 with Badding finishing 12th and Pottebaum in 20th place. The Knights are poised for a strong season and got off to a really good start against a tough field on a difficult course.
