Boys Cross Country Results For Thursday, August 29th

Ar-We-Va, East Sac, and South Central Calhoun at SE Valley

 

Ar-We-Va, South Central Calhoun, and East Sac County started their cross-country season on Thursday at Southeast Valley. Four local runners finished in the top ten. Redge Potts of South Central Calhoun finished in second place, running a time of 17:11.65. East Sac County had three runners who finished in the top ten. They were led by Landon Sporrer who finished in sixth place with a time of 17:59.08. Owen Engel finished in eight for the Raiders with a time of 18:30.84. Rounding out the top ten was Riley Aragon, who finished in tenth, running a time of 18:49.71. Joe Thielen of South Central Calhoun was second on the Titan team, coming in 23rd with a time of 20:03.35. Jacob Hanson was Ar-We-Va’s highest finisher coming in 91st with a time of 25:38.86. In the team standings, ESC finished fifth with 140 points. South Central Calhoun finished ninth in the team race with a total of 225 points.
