The KCIM Sports Rewind All-Star Baseball and Softball Teams will be announced on Tuesday, July 16th during KCIM Sports Rewind from 9:30-10:00 on 1380 AM/95.1 FM KCIM. The show and festivities on Saturday are brought to you by St Anthony Rehabilitation Services.
Saturday Rewind Festivities Schedule is below
Order of Events
1. Saturday, July 20th at the Carroll High School Field by the Carroll Aquatic Center- Gates open at 10:15. Event to start shortly afterwards
2. Home Run Derby-30 Seconds- Kids can warm up in the batting cage, Home Runs count as a home run and flags will be placed in the outfield and each distance will be worth points to use as a tiebreaker. We will be using regulation softballs. Baseball will go first, followed by Softball and then the winners of each will have a hit off against each other.
3. Senior All-Star Game- Seniors play 5 innings, no more than 9 batters in an inning- It is a slow-pitch softball game and the girls and boys are mixed on teams
4. Awards Ceremony- Each kid and coach will be awarded a certificate and a t-shirt- Softball will go 1st with Baseball to follow.
All-Rewind 1st Team, 2nd Team and Honorable Mention, along with Coach of the Year and Player of the Year will be announced on KCIM Sports Rewind on Tuesday, July 16th
5. Event is Free and Open to the public
