The East Sac County Raiders pick up a nonconference win on Thursday at home against OABCIG. The bats were a big story of the game for the Raiders, as they recorded ten hits as a team. In the top of the first inning, the Raiders were able to get out of some trouble, leaving a couple of OABCIG hitters on base. The Raiders plated a single run in the bottom of the first. In the home half of the third inning, ESC sent 12 batters to the plate as they would score six runs to take a 7-0 lead over the Falcons. In the fourth inning, OABCIG was able to get on the board as they would cut into the Raider lead at 7-3. ESC would respond in the home half, plating two runs as their lead would grow to 9-3. Another run came across the plate for both teams during the game as the Raiders would go on to win 10-4.
Jamie Pierce went 2-5 at the plate with a double and a couple of RBI. Anna McCollough also had a multi-hit game, going 2-3 with a double and two RBI. Addisen Ehlers was 2-4 with two RBI for the Raiders. Miranda Gerdes, Jen Aschinger, and Kendall Quirk recorded the other hits for ESC. Gerdes went the distance in the circle, going six innings, giving up one earned run on five hits while striking out ten batters. The Raiders are back in action on Friday against South Central Calhoun.

The Audubon Wheelers pick up another win, a run-rule win over Lenox, on Thursday at home. Audubon scored in every inning. In the top of the first, the Wheelers plated one run to take a 1-0 lead. The Wheelers opened the game up in the second inning, plating eight runs to jump out to a 9-0 lead. Audubon added another two runs in the third inning and one in the fourth to go on and win 12-0 over Lenox. As a team, the Wheelers had nine hits. Riley Miller went 3-3 with two RBI. Addie Hocker recorded a home run in the win. Jordan Porsch had a multi-hit game, going 2-4, with a double and three RBI. Michelle Brooks, Mattie Nielsen, and Anna Larsen recorded the other hits for the Wheelers. Alexis Obermeier was the winning pitcher, going four innings, giving up one hit and striking out four Lenox batters.

The Ar-We-Va Rockets pick up their fourth straight win and fourth win this week as they knock off IKM-Manning at home on Thursday. The game started as a low-scoring affair. In the top of the first inning, IKM-Manning was able to pick up a run on an RBI single from Alikxa McGinn as they would take the lead at 1-0. Both teams hit the ball well, as there were a combined 20 hits. Ar-We-Va was able to tie the game up in the bottom of the first inning. Morgan Berg brought in the tieing run on an RBI single to make the score 1-1. The Rockets would take their first lead in the bottom of the second inning as Emma Leiting drove in a run on a single, and the score would move to 2-1. Going to the top of the fourth inning, IKM-Manning plated three runs on three hits to take the lead back at 4-2. Ar-We-Va opened the game in the home half, sending 11 batters to the plate. They would open the game up with seven runs, taking a 9-4 lead. Neither team scored in the fifth and sixth innings. In the top of the seventh, IKM-Manning attempted to come back as Keagen Eischeid had a three RBI triple. Ar-We-Va would go on to win 9-6.
As a team, Ar-We-Va recorded ten hits. Gabbie Hundling went 2-4 at the plate with two RBI. Morgan Berg was 2-4 with three RBI. Hallie McCollough also recorded a multi-hit game, going 2-3 with an RBI. Emma Leiting, Jazmine Molina, Amber Ragaller, and Annlee Wittrock recorded the other hits for the Rockets. The Wolves recorded ten hits as a team. Keagan Eischeid went 3-4 at the plate with a triple and two RBIs. Emma Branning had a multi-hit game, going 2-4. Alikxa McGinn was 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Karlee Arp also went 2-4 for the Wolves.
Ar-We-Va will be back in action on Friday against Glidden-Ralston. IKM-Manning returns to the diamond on July 8th against CAM.
