The Audubon Wheelers struggled defensively as they lost at home on Tuesday. The Wheelers committed seven errors, which led to seven unearned runs. In the top of the first inning, Logan-Magnolia scored six runs to take the lead 6-0. The LoMa lead would grow as they plated a run in the second and third innings to take an 8-0 lead. Audubon responded in the bottom of the third inning with two runs to make the score 8-2. The Panthers would add another run in the fourth and then two more in the sixth as their lead grew to 11-2. The Wheelers scored two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning but would go on to lose 12-4. The Wheelers recorded five hits as a team. Brody Schultes, Carson Wessel, Evan Alt, Brody Weber, and Ryan Hermansen picked up the hits for the Wheelers. Aaron Olsen pitched five innings on the mound, giving up two earned runs on six hits and striking out one Logan-Magnolia hitter. With the loss, Audubon falls to 1-17-1. The Wheelers are back in action on Thursday against IKM-Manning.

The IKM-Manning Wolves fell down early and attempted to come back, but it fell short at home on Tuesday. The Wolves hit the ball well, recording eight hits as a team. In the top of the first inning, Treynor would plate two runs, taking an early 2-0 lead. Another run came across for Treynor in the second inning and two more in the third as their lead would grow to 5-0. In the bottom of the third inning, IKM-Manning got on the board, plating one run to make the score 5-1. Two more runs came across the plate for the Wolves in the fourth inning as they would trail 5-3. Neither team scored in the last three innings, and IKM-Manning would go on to lose 5-3 on Tuesday.

Jace Starman continues his great season, picking up two hits and an RBI. Kasche Huehn also had a multi-hit game for the Wolves, going 2-4 with two RBI. Ross Kusel, Zander Richards, Bryc Summerfield, and Tristan Berry also recorded hits for IKM-Manning. Ross Kusel picked up the loss on the hill, going six-plus innings, giving up three earned runs on eight hits, and striking out three Treynor batters. With the loss, IKM-Manning falls to 9-11. The Wolves are back in action on Thursday against Audubon.
