South Central Calhoun and Sioux Central both had 10 hits but the Rebels had five extra base hits, helping them take an early lead then score late to hold off a Titan rally. Sioux Central scored twice in the 1st inning and never trailed though the Titans pulled within 4-3 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 6th. The Rebels extended the lead with a 3-run 7th and won 7-3.
Cooper Nattress had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-4, he scored once. Brock Nattress added a pair of hits and scored a run. He added 2 bases stolen. Andrew Anderson and Halas Steig both had a base hit with Anderson driving in a run and Steigh scoring a run. Carson Shaver pitched 6 innings, allowing 10 hits and 4 earned runs with 3 strikeouts.
The Titans fell to 7-7 overall and 5-3 in the Twin Lakes Conference. They travel to Woodbine on Monday.
