The Cougars looked like they had taken control of the game with a 2-run 4th inning, building a 14-9 lead. Manson NW Webster went down in order in the 7th, giving East Sac some life. An RBI single by Carter Erritt put the winning run on base and the tying run was on 3rd. Zach Jacobsen scored on an infield fly rule, tying the game at 15. That set the stage for Luke Wernimont. It was his second time up in the inning. He cranked an inside pitch past the 3rd baseman into left field, scoring Carter Erritt with the game winner.
