Girls Golf Results For Friday, May 24th

Class 1A at American Legion Golf Course

Addy Boell of Glidden-Ralston wrapped up an outstanding career with a 65th-place finish at the state golf meet in Marshalltown. Boell finished with a round of 107. She shot a 55 on the front nine and a 52 on the back. In a two-day total, Boell finished 65 shots over par. In a two-day total, Boell finished with two pars. Addy caps off a great season at the state golf meet in Marshalltown.

Class 2A at Cedar Pointe Golf Course

The Kuemper Knights were able to move up a spot in the team standings on the second day at the 2A state golf meet. Addy Beiter was the highest-placing Kuemper golfer as she wrapped up in 15th place with a score of 170. Bieter shot a round of 81 in the second round. Elsa Tiefenthaler finished in 31st with a score of 184. Tiefentahler shot an 89 on Friday. Giada Lujano finished with a two-day total of 212, which was good for 63rd. Lujano shot a 106 in both rounds of play. Ella Pick finished in 65th with a two-day total of 215. In the second round of the tournament, Pick finished with a 109. Grace Tigges of Kuemper withdrew from the second round of the tournament. The Knights finished in ninth place with a score of 781.
