Carroll played well most of the game against Glenwood on Wednesday, but a couple brief moments put them in a hole. The Tigers gave up a pair of goals in the first-three minutes of the game and never fully recovered. The Rams scored at 36:06 and 35:40 to start the game. The Tigers trailed 2-0 at half as the defense locked down, but weren’t able to get the offense unleashed. The Rams added a pair of goals in the 2nd half with the first at 11:49 and the clincher with 2:48 remaining. Carroll had 5 shots on goal with Chase Ragaller taking 3 of them. Elias Villanueva and Jameson Polking both had a shot on goal. Tanner Heithoff has 10 saves.
The Tigers wrap up the season 5-13, making their first even Sub-State final.
