Boys Soccer Districts Results Monday, May 20th 

Carroll At Harlan- Class 2A Semifinals

Carroll rallied from down 1-0 to knock off Harlan and advance to the programs first ever Sub-State final. Chase Ragaller had a pair of goals in the 2nd half as the Tigers showed no quit. Harlan scored late in the 1st half, scoring with 10:22 left on a shot from Elmer Argueta. Carroll shut down the Cyclones the rest of the game, shutting down the middle of the field and holding their speed on the outside in check. Carroll became the aggressor as the game went on, willing themselves to the win. They were the more physical and aggressive team and possessed the ball much better than their matchup earlier this season. The Tigers tied the game in the 2nd half with Chase Ragalller scoring with 36.11 left. Ragaller gave the Tigers the lead late, scoring with 3:38 left.

Chase Ragaller scored a pair of goals and Tanner Heithoff had 5 saves.

The Tigers improve to 5-12 and will head to Glenwood on Wednesday. The Rams knocked off Creston 11-1 on Monday.

Kuemper At Western Christian- Class 1A Semifinal

Kuemper played well but couldn’t find the back of the net, falling behind 2-0 at half and losing 3-0 on the road. They had a several chances, getting four 1 on 1’s with the goalie. The loss ends their season at 9-9. The Knights received 7 saves from Michael Kasperbauer and got shots on goal from Carson Kanne, Fletch Badding and Brenden Vonnahme.

East Sac At Unity Christian- Class 1A Semifinal

East Sac nearly rallied back, falling behind 4-1 at half but cutting the deficit to 4-3 as the seniors fought until the final horn sounded. The Raiders defense cranked things up in the 2nd half, helping keep the pressure off Luke Wernimont, who finished with 16 saves. Luke Wright had one of his best games of the season with a pair of goals and an assist. Riley Aragon added a goal and Isaiah Aragon finished with a pair of assists.

The Raiders finish the season 5-6.
