Kuemper had their outstanding team season come to an end on Saturday in Marshalltown, falling to Xavier, Cedar Rapids. The Knights played well taking several of the matches to a third set, before falling 5-0 with the six singles matches tied a 1-1 in sets and 1-1 in games. Brooke Rohe rallying to tie the match at one set apiece, winning set two 7-6. The third set was tight with Rohe falling 10-8. Julia Craig was similar, coming back after losing the first set to win set two 7-5, falling in set three 10-7. Charlotte Schwabe dropped two tight sets, losing 6-4 and 7-5. Ella Schwarte was tied 1 set apiece and tied 1 game apiece in set three when the match ended.
The Knights finish the season 19-1-1.
