East Sac let one slip away Thursday, falling at home after leading into the 4th inning. East Sac gave up 11-runs over the final two innings, surrendering 6-runs in the 6th inning and 5 more runs in the top 7th. The Raiders had chances to build on their lead, loading the bases three times and not scoring any runs. That kept the Falcons in striking distance until their bats came alive late.
OABCIG scored three times in the top 1st, but the Raiders answered tying the game in the bottom half of the 1st. East Sac took the lead in the 2nd inning but OABCIG tied the game in the 3rd and took the lead in the 4th.
Landon Sporrer, Jack Gullett and Mason Carlson all had two hits for the Raiders with Gullett driving in 3-runs. Sporrer scored a run with Bradyn Burns scoring 3-runs and Luke Wright with a pair runs. Luke Wernimont was hit-by-pitch three times.
The loss to open the season leaves the Raiders at 0-1 as the Raiders are off until they host Cherokee on Thursday of next week.
