The Kuemper Boys Tennis team saw their tremendous season come to an end at the hands of their rival Boone. The Toreadors topped the Knights 5-0 in singles play, knocking them out in the Class 1A Sub-State. Boone went 5-0 in matches with Kuemper going 45-66 in games. Josh Langel had a strong showing in #2 singles, falling 6-4 in both sets with Max Reincke and Hans Kraus earning a set win. Reincke and Kraus both won their opening set 6-2 before falling in their final 2 sets. Kruas nearly won, falling 7-6 in the 3rd set. Carter Running was in a tight match, falling 7-5 in the first set, before losing 6-3 in the second set.
The Knights finished the season 18-2.

Owen Schneider of Boone won 2-6, 6-0, 7-6 over Hans Kraus of Kuemper
Devin Silbaugh of Boone won 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 over Max Reincke of Kuemper
Lucas Thompson of Boone won 6-1, 6-4 over Jake Hausman of Kuemper
Wes VanPelt of Boone won 7-5, 6-3 over Carter Running of Kuemper
Mason Reicks of Kuemper Vs Joe Jordan of Boone wasn’t completed with the match ending 5-0 before they were done playing.
