Kuemper and Caleb Gaffney of South Central Calhoun At Landsmeer Golf Club- Class 2A
Kuemper advances to State Golf with an 8-stroke win over Ridge View and Cherokee at Landsmeer on Monday. The Knights had a strong day with three of their top four scores shooting in the 70’s with Maverick Schwabe winning a playoff to earn the individual title and Medalist honor. Their fourth score was right at 80. With the win, Kuemper will head to Coldwater Golf Links to play for a State Championship. The State Tournament is Monday and Tuesday, May 20th and 21st.
Maverick Schwabe defeated Graden Van Essen of Unity Christian for Medalist honors with both guys shooting a 75. Carter Putney added a 78 with Kayden Schon a 79. Braxton Vonnahme gave Kuemper their fourth score, shooting an 80 as the Kuemper depth continued to shine on Monday.
