The Carroll Tigers play their best game of the year at the right time as they pick up a victory Monday over Atlantic. Carroll moved the ball really well against the Trojans. Atlantic scored an own goal as Carroll would take a 1-0 lead. Neither team would score the rest of the half, and Carroll would lead by 1-0 at the half. Coming out of the half, Atlantic scored on a corner kick to score 1-1. Kaisen Stypa took advantage of a handball and scored on a penalty kick to give Carroll the lead back at 2-1. The Trojans would tie the game back at 2-2. Parker Adams scored for Carroll as the second half was winding down to give the Tigers a 3-2 advantage. Carroll would go on to win 3-2. Marin Overmohle was fantastic in goal, recording 17 saves. Parker Adams also had seven shots on goal. As a team, Carroll had 22 shots on goal. With the win Carroll improves to 2-15 on the season. The Tigers are back in action on Friday against Denison-Schleswig.
