Kuemper evened their record at 8-8 with a shutout win over East Sac, which slips below 500 going into postseason play this week. The Knights had 22 shots while East Sac had 16 shots with 11 on goal in a highly up-tempo game that had plenty of offensive action. Kuemper got a pair of goals in the 1st half to lead 2-0, then stretched their lead in the 2nd half. Carson Kanne led the Knights with a pair of goals with Tommy Fitzsimmons, Ethan Fitzhenry and Tanner Lamaak all scoring one goal. Michael Kasperbauer and the defense were strong, holding the Raiders scoreless on 11 shots on goal with Kasperbauer finishing with 7 saves. Luke Wright and Isaiah Aragon led East Sac in shots with both taking 4. Luke Wernimont finished the game with 17 saves for the Raiders.
Kuemper sits 8-8 on the season and will host LoMa on Monday in the 1st round. East Sac dropped their second straight, falling to 4-5 and will host AHSTW on Monday in the 1st round.
