Girls Golf Results For Friday, May 10th

Kuemper and Audubon at Riverbend Golf Course

Kuemper and Audubon competed at the Riverbend Golf Course Friday in regional golf. The Knights advanced as a team, finishing second at the meet with a score of 426. Roland Story won the regional with a final score of 352. Due to Rolan Story winning Iowa Falls-Alden, they also advanced as a team with a score of 434. The medalist was Makenna Carlson of Roland Story, with a final round of 84. The runner-up was Brinley Carlson of Roland Story with a round of 85. Elsa Tiefenthaler finished in third place for the Knights with a round of 90. For Audubon, Mari Gleason’s season came to an end with a round of 125. Addy Beiter was second on the Kuemper team with a 95.

The East Sac County Raiders advance as a team, picking up a first-place finish in Holstein on Friday. As a team, the Raiders finished with a team score of 386. Hinton also moves on as a team with a score of 397. For East Sac County, Sidney Bieret finished fourth with a final round of 92. Makenna Steiger was seventh with a score of 97. Ella Willson was third on the Raiders team with a round of 98. Willson also finished in eighth place individually. The medalist was Alex Wonder of MVAOCOU, who scored 86. The runner-up was Amelia Brown of Cherokee, with a round of 91.

The IKM-Manning Wolves wrap up their season on Friday in regional golf action. As a team, the Wolves finished fourth in the team standings with a score of 444. Akron-Westfield was the meet winner with a final score of 386. The other team that advanced to districts was Westwood, with a score of 426. For the IKM-Manning Maeve, Neilsen finished with the lowest score, 107. Neilsen finished in 13th place individually. Eryn Ramsey was second on the team with a 110. Brooke Booth and Ryelyn Summerfield both shot a 115. The medalist at the meet on Friday was Henley Arbaugh of Missouri-Valley, with a score of 92. The runner-up was Allie Swoyer of Akron-Westfield, with a round of 94.

Coon Rapids-Bayard, Glidden-Ralston, and South Central Calhoun at Jewell Golf and Country 

Glidden-Ralston advances a couple of individuals, but South Central Calhoun and Coon Rapids-Bayard’s season come to an end on Friday. As a team, SCC finished fourth with a score of 436. Glidden-Ralston finished in sixth as a team with a 463. Addy Boell of Glidden-Ralston was the medalist with a score of 87. The runner-up was Sydney Anderson of BCLUW with a 88. Elizabeth Lloyd of Glidden-Ralston also advanced as an individual, finishing fifth place with a score of 99. Charissa Nowatzke finished in eighth for SCC with a score of 101. For Coon Rapids-Bayard, Mallory Schroeder finished with a 118. BCLUW finished first in the team standings with a 383. Newell-Fonda was second with a 420.
