Kuemper At Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet At Clarinda

Kuemper claimed the Hawkeye 10 Conference championship edging Atlantic by 1 stroke. The Knights had three guys in the top 10, helping Kuemper shoot a 300 to Atlantic’s 3-1. Clarinda took 3rd with a 313 and Shenandoah was 4th with a 318. Maverick Schwabe won Medalist honors with a 69 for Kuemper, winning by 3 strokes over Tristan Hayes of Atlantic and Jade Spangler of Shenandoah who took 2nd and 3rd respectively. The Knights, Atlantic and Shenandoah had 8 of the top 10 players on the scoreboard. Braxton Vonnahme took 4th for the Knights with a 74, Carter Putney was 10th with a 78 and Jack Lenz added a 79.

Carroll At Raccoon River Conference Meet At Ballard Golf and Country Club

Carroll had two golfers in the top 30 as they finished 7th at the Conference Meet in Ballard on Monday. The Tigers finished with a 355, two strokes behind Carlisle and 30 strokes behind 5th place Winterset. ADM won the meet with a 290, 13 shots ahead of 2nd place North Polk. Joey Currans of Gilbert was Medalist with a 71 and Easton Korell of ADM was 2nd, also with a 71.

Zach Bird led the Tigers with a 85, finishing in 24th place followed by Wyatt Ragaller with a 86 in 27th place. Garrett Blunk added a 91 and Will Schultes shot a 93.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Rolling Valley Conference Meet At Carroll National Golf Course

Coon Rapids Bayard fell just short of their goal of winning the conference tournament, falling to CAM but 7 strokes. The Crusaders shot well on a windy day where the course was still wet from the heavy rain on Saturday morning. Glidden Ralston shot a 422 with one golfer under a 100. Carson Jahde of CAM was the Medalist, shooting a 75. Gavin Heiderscheit of Coon Rapids Bayard took 2nd place with an 81. The Crusaders finished with three golfers in the top 10. Logan Kenyon finished with a 88 and Toby Benninger added a 92. Max Shirbroun was their final score with a 98. Greyson Renze added a 107 for the Wildcats, Jackson Whitaker and Mason Dunn both shot 111.
