The Kuemper Knights pick up another win on the season with a road victory over West Central Valley. As a team, Kuemper recorded nine shots during the game. Addy Anthofer was fantastic in goal for the Knights, recording 15 saves. Ashlyn Foley scored a goal in the first half to give Kuemper a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Cierra Pudenz added the second goal for Kuemper, which was to give them a 2-0 lead. West Central Valley scored a goal with a second left in the game. The Knights would go on to win 2-1. With the win Kuemper improves to 8-6 on the year. The Knights are back in action on Tuesday against Atlantic.

The Carroll Tigers ran into a good team in Gilbert on Monday as the Tigers fell at home. The Tigers’ defense gave up five goals in the first half and trailed 5-0 at the half. The Tiger’s defense made adjustments in the second half and only gave up three goals but would go on to lose 8-0. Marin Overmohle recorded 27 saves in the game. Carroll did not record a shot on goal during the match but showed signs of improvement as the game went on. Carroll falls to 1-13 on the season. The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday against North Polk.
