Girls Golf Results For Monday, May 6th

Kuemper at Hawkeye Ten Conference Meet

The Kuemper Knights battled health issues as only two girls competed at the conference meet on Monday. The Knights did not record a team score on Monday. Elsa Tiefenthaler finished with a low score for the Knights. Tiefenthaler shot a 92 for Kuemper, which was good for seventh overall at the meet. Grace Tigges also competed for the Knights, finishing with a 113. Sarah Pickens of Shenandoah was the individual conference champion with a round of 87. The runner-up was Brynn Knauss of Red Oak. The team champion was Atlantic, with a score of 388. The Knights are back in action on Tuesday against Denison-Schleswig.

Carroll Girls at Raccoon River Conference Meet

The Carroll Tigers competed at North Polk Monday in the Raccoon River Conference Meet. The Tigers took seventh as a team with a score of 452. The conference champion was Gilbert, with a team score of 302. Delaney Schurke finished tenth overall for the Tigers, finishing with a score of 99. Amelia Henson was second on the Carroll team with a score of 114. Ella Perry wrapped up a round of 118 for Carroll. The individual conference champion was Eden Lohrbach of Gilbert, with a score of 73. Ava Lohrback was the runner-up, finishing with a round of 75. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday against Denison-Schleswig.

Glidden-Ralston and Coon Rapids-Bayard competed at the Rolling Valley Conference Meet Monday at the Carroll National Golf Course. Glidden-Ralston and Boyer Valley were the only teams to report a team score on Monday. Addy Boell captured a conference championship, finishing with a round of 88 for the Wildcats. Elizabeth Lloyd recorded the second-lowest score for Glidden-Ralston with 123. Coon Rapids-Bayard had three girls compete. Summer South recorded the lowest score for the Crusaders, with a 121. Mallory Schroeder was second on the team with a 130. The runner-up was Reese Miller from Boyer Valley, with a round of 100. Both CRB and Glidden-Ralston are back in action on Friday at Jewell.
