Girls Golf Results For Friday, May 3rd

Carroll at Kuemper Tournament

Kuemper Catholic finishes second, while the Carroll Tigers take sixth place Friday at the Country Club. As a team, the Knights finished with a round of 392. Spencer was the tournament champion with a score of 367. The Tigers finished in sixth with a final score of 433. The medalist was Morgan Irvine of Spencer, with a score of 86. Spencer’s Meredith Baker was the runner-up, finishing with a round of 89. For Kumper, Elsa Tiefenthaler finished with the lowest score. Tiefenthaler wrapped up a fourth-place finish at the meet with a round of 90. Addy Beiter was second on the Kuemper team with a 92. Delaney Schurke finished with a round of 100 for Carroll, good for 13th place overall. Morgan Roberts was second on the Tiger team with a round of 108. Carroll is back in action on Monday at North Polk. Kuemper returns to the golf course on Monday at Glenwood.

East Sac County at Newell-Fonda

The East Sac County Raiders continue a great couple of weeks of golf as they wrap up a first-place finish at Newell-Fonda. The Raiders won the meet with a score of 194, followed by Newell-Fonda with 216. Sidney Bieret of East Sac County was the medalist with a round of 42. The runner-up medalist was Macey Demey of Newell-Fonda, with a score of 46. Makenna Steiger finished third overall at the meet with a round of 48. Sophia Villegas was third of the Raiders team, scoring 51. East Sac County is back in action on Friday at the class 2A district meet.
