Girls Golf Results Thursday, May 2nd
Newell Fonda, SE Valley and Sioux Central At South Central Calhoun
South Central Calhoun earned a nice win at home on Thursday, defeating SE Valley by 6 strokes, Newell Fonda by 11 strokes and Sioux Central by 24 strokes. The Titans finished with a 214, having five golfers shoot in the 50’s, led by Adlen Wheelock. Wheelock shot a 50 and earned Runner-Up Medalist. Macy DeMey of Newell Fonda was Medalist with a 48. Kyra Bruns added a 54 for the Titans with Charissa Nowaztke and Mi Babcock both adding a 55.
The Titans head to Jewell Golf and Country on Friday, May 10th for Regionals.

Emmetsburg, GTRA and Manson NW Webster At East Sac
East Sac fell just short, taking 2nd place with a 209, falling to Emmetsburg by 4 strokes. The meet was held in Sac City due to the course in Manson being under water with the recent rain. The Raiders had one golfer, Makenna Steiger in the 40’s with a 49. They had four other golfers in the 50’s with Sidney Bieret shooting a 51, Kendall Quirk a 54 and Ella Willson shooting a 55. Emmetsburg won both medalist and runner-up medalist with Calista Joyce and Kylie Iverson both shooting a 46.
The Raiders are at Newell Fonda on Friday.

The Wolves earned a nice win at home on Thursday, topping Riverside 223 to 228. IKM-Manning had their top four scores in the 50’s while Riverside had a 40 and two 50’s with their final score in the 60’s. Maeve Nielsen of IKM-Manning earned Runner-Up Medalist with a 52 while Addison Brink of Riverside was Medalist with a 49. Ella Richards added a 54 for the Wolves with Brooke Booth had a 58 and Ryelyn Summerfield finished with a 59.
