Audubon played well against a strong Clarinda team, winning a pair of singles matches and a doubles match. The Wheelers fell 6-3 overall, going 21-42 in singles games, finishing 2-4 in matches. Briley Belnap continues to be one of the most successful singles players in the area, winning 8-4 with Sammy Warnaca earning a hard-fought 8-6 win. The Wheelers ended the night 1-2 in doubles matches, going 12-23 in games. Rachael Rynearson and Lauren Greving squeezed out a 9-7 win in doubles.
The Wheelers head to Atlantic for Class 1A singles and doubles regionals on Monday.
