Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Kuemper and Audubon Boys Golf Win on Tuesday

Boys Golf Results Tuesday, April 30th 

Kuemper Vs Atlantic

Kuemper was golfing on Tuesday morning in the Atlantic Tournament when heavy rains early in the afternoon canceled the remainder of the tournament. The Knights and Atlantic approved using scores from the first nine holes their individuals had played to count at their dual meet for the season. Both teams finished shooting a 143 but Kuemper won on the 5th player scorecard to earn the dual victory. The Knights had all six golfers in the 30’s with their top four scores all 37 or below. Atlantic countered with four scores 37 or below but shot a 39 on their 5th player card with the Knights getting a 38 from Braxton Vonnahe. Maverick Schwabe earned Runner-Up Medalist for Kuemper, shooting a 34 with Hudson McLaren of Atlantic earning Medalist honors with a 34 as he edged Schwabe on a tiebreaker. Dawson Billmeier had his best round of the season for Kuemper, shooting a 36 with Jack Lenz adding a 36 and Kayden Schon finishing with a 37.

The Knights head to Clarinda on Thursday for the Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet.

LoMa At Audubon

Audubon won their third straight dual, dominating at home against LoMa. They moved to match to the noon hour due to the chance for storms on Tuesday afternoon and the Wheelers played one of their better round in  a couple weeks. Audubon had three golfers in the 30’s with two more in the 50’s including their 4th score, which was 43. LoMa had three players in the 40’s and three more shoot in the low 50’s. The Wheelers swept the medalist honors with Edward Miller shooting a 37 for Medalist and Oliver Deist finishing with a 38 for Runner-Up Medalist. Henry Burr added a 43 and Mason Stecker finished with a 43.

The Wheelers head to Nishna Hills on Wednesday for the Western Iowa Conference Meet.
