Girls Golf Results Monday, April 29th
East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Twin Lakes Conference Meet At Lake Creek Country Club
East Sac was impressive on Monday with three players in the top 10 and all four scores in the top 12. They won the title by 5-strokes over Alta-Aurelia. Those two teams had a gap between the rest of the field. South Central Calhoun finished 7th with one player in the top 10 and their other three scores in the upper 30’s and 40’s. Nicole Panbecker of Pocahontas area was the Medalist, finishing with a 94 with Avery Westphal earning Runner-Up Medalist with a 97.
Makenna Steiger has been on a tear for the Raiders and finished 3rd with a 97. She shot 47 on the front 9 and 50 on the back 9. Steiger had a birdie on the front 9 and two pars on the back 9. Sidney Bieret shot 48 and 52 for a 100, taking 4th place for the Raiders with three pars on the front 9 and one on the back 9. Kendall Quirk was 9th place, shooting a 104 with a 51 and a 53. Quirk had a par on the front 9 and two pars on the back 9. Sophia Villegas added a 12th place finish with one par on the back 9.
Adlen Wheelock continues to lead the Titans, finishing in 10th place with a 105. Wheelock went 51 on the front and 54 on the back 9. She had a par on the front 9. Sophia Wuebker added a 119 with Kyra Bruns shooting a 121 and Mia Babcock a 125 for the Titans.

IKM-Manning suffered their first conference loss of the season, losing to Treynor, which improved to 18-4 overall and 15-4 in league matches. The Wolves shot a 238, about 20 strokes higher than their season average. They were led by Maeve Nielsen with a 53, earning her Runner-Up Medalist. Brooke Booth and Ryelyn Summerfield both shot 60 and Ella Richards added a 65 for the Wolves. Sophi Pedersen of Treynor was Medalist with a 45.
The Wolves head to the WIC meet on Wednesday at Nishna Hills Golf Club.
