Kuemper At West Central Valley Tournament
Kuemper went 1-1 on the day, falling to West Central Valley 4-0. They allowed a pair of goals in each half, getting 8 saves from Michael Kasperbauer.
The Knights earned a hard fought win over Panorama in their other game. Tommy Fitzsimmons tied the game a 3-3 with 0:15 remaining, sending it to overtime. Carson Kanne and Charlie Badding had scored for Kuemper earlier in the game, keeping them in the game. in the pk’s stage of the game, Carson Kanne, Fletch Badding and Tommy Fitzsimmons all scored. Michael Kasperbauer made two saves, including on the final kick by Panorama to seal the win.
The Knights are 6-6 on the season and will host Denison Schleswig at the Fieldhouse on Monday.
