Girls Track Results For Friday, April 26th
Drake Relays
Marie Dea ran in the 800-meter run this afternoon at Drake Stadium. Dea was seeded 9th coming into the race, and finished 5th with a time of 2:12.58. Dea’s first lap around the track was clocked at 1:05.79. Dea will run in the 400-meter dash at 5:26 and the 4×400 at 8:21. In the 400-meter run, Dea was seeded ninth as well. She finished 14th overall with a run of 58.42.
The Carroll Girls 4×400 with Marasyn Wittrock, Averi Burke, Katelyn Aden, and Marie Dea was scheduled to compete at Drake but due to storms the race wasn’t run.
