Kuemper earned an impressive win against a strong team in Sioux City North on Monday, dropping two matches but winning the final four singles matches and all three of the doubles matches, including a thrilling 11-10 win in number one doubles. Sioux City North won the top two matches in singles play but the Knights rallied to win the final four matches, taking 47 of the 75 games in singles. Carter Running won 10-0, Hans Kraus won 10-1, Jake Hausman picked up a 10-3 win and Max Reincke added a 10-4 win. The biggest battle of the night was in doubles with Josh Langel and Hans Kraus earning a 11-10 win to clinch the team win. The other two Kuemper doubles teams both won 10-5 with Mason Reicks teaming with Jake Hausman and Max Reincke playing with Landon Pottebaum. The Knights went 31-20 in doubles games.

Kuemper moved to 5-0, dropping Sioux City North to 7-2. Kuemper heads to Audubon on Thursday.

Brenden Liro of Sioux City North won 10-4 over Josh Langel of Kuemper

Hans Kraus of Kuemper won 10-1 over Beckett Beller of Sioux City North 

Max Reincke of Kuemper won 10-4 over Ethan Cook of Sioux City North 

Jake Hausman of Kuemper won 10-3 over Derek Folchert of Sioux City North

Doubles 

Josh Langel and Hans Kraus of Kuemper won 11-10 over Cole Ivener and Brenden Liro of Sioux City North 

Mason Reicks and Jake Hausman of Kuemper won 10-5 over Beckett Beller and Derek Folchert of Sioux City North 

Max Reincke and Landon Pottebaum of Kuemper won 10-5 over Ethan Cook and Kyler Nicto of Sioux City North

Audubon played really well in tough conditions, nearly earning a win on the road. The Wheelers battled the Yellow Jackets and 30-40 mph winds. Carson Matthews, played a smart game, making good shots and rolling to an 8-1 win in singles while Sawyer Toft used a strong serving night along with good play at the net to pull out a hard fought 8-6 win. Isaac Jackson played well in the #1 singles match but fell in a tight on 8-6. The Wheelers went 32-39 in singles games and 2-4 in matches. Zack Schmidt and Kayden Otten got their first-doubles win of the season, battling for a 8-6 win. The Wheelers were 1-2 in matches, going 15-22 in games.

The Wheelers head to Atlantic on Tuesday.
