Girls Golf Results For Monday, April 22nd

Pocahontas Area at South Central Calhoun

The South Central Calhoun Titans fall at home against a good Pocahontas area team. The Titans struggled in windy conditions Monday. As a team, SCC shot a 230 while Pocahontas Area shot a 196. Nicole Panbecker of Pocahontas was the medalist Monday with a round of 47. Pocahontas Area’s Addison Shimon was the runner-up, shooting a 48. Charissa Nowatzke shot a 53 for SCC, which was the lowest score on the team. Sophia Wuebker was second on the Titans teams with a 57. South Central Calhoun is back in action on Thursday at Alta-Aurelia.

Underwood at Audubon

The Audubon Wheelers golfed well on Monday despite only having one girl compete. Audubon did not record a team score on Monday. Underwood shot a 218 as a team. Mari Gleason of Audubon shot a 48, which was good for a runner-up finish. Mary Stephens of Underwood was the meet medalist with a 45. The Wheelers are back in action on Thursday against Griswold.

Carroll and Bondurant-Farrar at ADM

The Carroll Tigers take second at ADM Monday. As a team Carroll finished with a score of 230. ADM won the meet with a team score of 216. Bondurant-Farrar was third finishing with a 248. Carroll had three girls shoot 57 and one more in the upper 50’s. Kenzee Lathrup of ADM won medalist with a 53 and Aubrey Winter or ADM added a 53 and won Runner-Up Medalist. Delaney Schurke, Morgan Roberts and Katie Weitl all shot 57 for Carroll with Emma Hoffman added a 59.

Kuemper at Lake Panorama Tournament

The Kuemper Knights competed at Lake Panorama on Monday, finishing third out of five schools. As a team, Kuemper shot 222 in the tournament. Des Moines Christian took home the team title, shooting a 204. Elsa Tiefenthaler finished as the runner-up for Kuemper, finishing with a round of 48. Courtney Latham of Des Moines Christian was the medalist at Monday’s meet with a 46. Addy Beiter recorded the second-lowest score for Kuemper with a 52. Ella Pick was second on the team with a 58. The Knights are back in action on Wednesday at the Lakeside Golf Course.

Southeast Valley at East Sac County

The East Sac County Raiders took on Southeast Valley Monday at home but fell to the Jaguars in a close contest. As a team, the Raiders shot a 210, which was ten strokes behind SE Valley, who shot a 200. Halle Steck of Southeast Valley was the medalist with a 48. Makenna Steiger for East Sac County was the runner-up with a round of 49. Kendall Quirk of ESC was second on the team with a score of 52. Sidney Bieret shot a 54 for the Raiders which was third on the team. East Sac County is back in action on Thursday at Manson Northwest Webster.

Coon Rapids-Bayard and Glidden-Ralston at Carroll Country Club

Glidden-Ralston and Coon Rapids-Bayard competed Monday at a Rolling Valley Conference meet held at the Carroll Country Club. Only two teams recorded a team score. Boyer Valley finished first in the team standings with a 221. Glidden-Ralston was second in the standings with a 230. Addy Boell of the Wildcats was the meet medalist, shooting a 50 through nine holes. Elizabeth Lloyd was second on the Glidden-Ralston team with a score of 57, which was also good for fifth place overall at the meet. For Coon Rapids-Bayard, Summer South finished with a round of 59 which was the lowest on the Crusaders team. Hayley Follmann of Boyer Valley was the runner-up, finishing with a score of 51. The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday at Greene County. CRB returns to the golf course next Tuesday at CAM.
