Kuemper picked up their second win of the season, getting a 2nd half goal from Ashlyn Foley to edge Creston. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Carroll but wet field conditions, moved it to Creston. The Knights got goals from Ashlyn Foley and Cierra Pudenz in the 1st half with Pudenz assisting on the Foley goal and Taylor Boell assisting on the goal by Pudenz. Kuemper finished the game with 17 shots on goal.
Ashlyn Foley led Kuemper with 2 goals on 3 shots on goal with Cierra Pudenz scoring a goal with 6 shots on goal and an assist. Taylor Boell added and assist while Cailyn Pudenz had 3 shots on goal and Frannie Glynn had 2 shots on goal.
The Knights are home Friday against Storm Lake.

Both defenses came out strong early with neither team able to get many chances to score early. Spirit Lake broke through with around 25:00 left in the half, taking a 1-0 lead. They stretched the lead to 3-0 at half with a pair of goals in the final 7:00 of the half. The Indians added a pair of goals in the 2nd half. East Sac had chances, taking 4 shots on goal but weren’t able to convert.
Chloe Bieret led the Raiders with 2 shots on goal, Sarah Bontrager and Jordin Carroll both had a shot on goal. Danae Thayer had 4 saves and Melodee Rench had a pair of saves.
East Sac slips to 3-2 on the season and will head to the Denison Schleswig tournament on Saturday.
