Boone and Perry At Carroll High At Muni
Carroll was edged at home on Tuesday on a windy day that had a couple small rain showers during the round. The Tigers shot well, finishing with a 172 with Will Schultes earning Medalist with a 40. Five of the Tigers shot in the 40’s, helping them finish with a 172 but Boone won the meet with a 168. Boone had all six players shoot in the 40’s, including Runner-Up Medalist Mason Oostenink with a 41. Perry had two golfers and couldn’t record a team score. Zavier Field led them with a 49.
Will Schultes led Carroll with a 40, having a birdie on hole 2 and shooting par on holes 6, 8 and 9 to hold off Oostenink and Wyatt Ragaller for Medalist. Wyatt Ragaller finished with a 42 for the Tigers. He had a birdie on hole 4 and shot par of hole 7. Moyer Olberding added a 44 for the Tigers, with a par on hole 3. Stone Sibenaller shot a 46, shooting par on holes 2 and 8.
Carroll heads to Denison Schleswig on Monday for a tournament at Majestic Hills.
