Boys Golf Results Monday, April 15th
Carroll High and Kuemper Catholic At Spencer Tournament
Kuemper had a great day, closing the tournament well over the final few holes to claim the championship in fifteen team field. The Knights had two players in the top 10 and three in the top 15, helping them shoot a 311, edging Humboldt and Webster City. Humboldt finished 2nd with a 314 and Webster City had a 315, taking 3rd place. Carroll had three players shoot in the 80’s, finishing with a 358, good for 13th place. They also played well over the final few holes, moving up a couple spots in the standings. Josh Matheasen of Emmetsburg was Medalist with a 73 and Carson Sleiter of Humboldt finished as Runner-Up Medalist with a 74.
Maverick Schwabe of Kuemper had a strong day, shooting a 75 and finishing in 3rd place. Kayden Schon of Kuemper added a 77 and was 10th with Jack Lenz shooting a 79 and finishing in 14th place. Carter Putney added an 80 for the Knights.
Wade Ragaller Garrett Blunk and Wyatt Ragaller were in a tight race to lead Carroll with Wade and Blunk both shooting an 88 and Wyatt finishing with a 89. They finished 51st, 52nd and 53rd. Will Schultes added a 93 for the Tigers.
Carroll Boys host Boone and Perry at the Muni on Tuesday with Kuemper off until Thursday when they host Harlan at the Country Club.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Rolling Valley Conference At Woodbine At Shadow Valley
Coon Rapids Bayard looks to defend their conference title from last season and took a step towards that with a solid round at Shadow Valley on Monday. The Crusaders won the meet with a 170, with Logan Kenyon earning Medalist. Glidden Ralston continues to show growth, working on cutting strokes each meet and working on their short game. They finished 6th with a 200. CAM edged Woodbine for 2nd place with both teams shooting a 178, but CAM winning the 5th player scorecard. Logan Kenyon of Coon Rapids Bayard was Medalist with a 39, tying Chase Jahde of CAM, who also shot a 39. Jahde was named Runner-Up Medalist with Kenyon winning 4-6 on the 1st handicap hole.
Gavin Heiderscheit was behind Kenyon for Coon Rapids Bayard with a 42, followed by Cole Cretsinger with a 44 and Max Shirbroun added a 45. Carson Peters led Glidden Ralston with a 45, Jackson Whitaker shot a 47, Charles Schon had a 53 and Mason Dunn finished with a 55.
The Crusaders head to Panorama on Saturday for a tournament while Glidden Ralston is off until next Monday at Coon Rapids.

Josh Walker won Medalist for IKM-Manning, shooting a 42. The Wolves finished with a 202, falling to AHSTW, which shot a 187. Walker was the only Wolves in the 40’s while the AHSTW had three players in the 40’s. Kaden Jorgensen of AHSTW was Runner-Up Medalist with 43. Miles Nuzback shot a 50 for IKM-Manning, Zander Richards added a 54 and Ashton Ahrenholtz shot a 56.
The Wolves head to Quail Run against Underwood on Thursday.
