Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Audubon Girls Tennis At Atlantic on Saturday

Girls Tennis Results Saturday, April 13th 

Audubon At Atlantic Tournament 

Audubon had a strong day on Saturday, showing good growth in both singles and doubles. Ava Slater led their singles play with a 5th place finish in #1 singles. She went 1-2 in matches, sweeping her 5th place match 6-0, 6-0.  Gery Anderson had a long day, thanks to a pair of marathon matches. She had back-to-back matches that lasted nearly an hour and a half each. She finished 6th in #2 singles, going 1-1 in pool play, then falling in the 5th place match. Anderson earned a 2-6, 7-5, 10-8 win in her opening match of the day. Briley Belnap, has been playing very well this season and teamed up with Grace Zaiger in #1 doubles.  They earned a win in pool play before falling in the 3rd place match. Rachael Rynearson and Samantha Warnaca took 5th in #2 doubles, going 0-2 in pool play but winning their 5th place match 6-4, 6-4.

The Wheelers head to Southwest Valley on Tuesday.
