Boys Track Results For Friday, April 12th

Paton Churdan, IKM-Manning, and South Central Calhoun at East Sac County

Four area schools competed in Sac City Friday night, with five events taking home first-place finishes. Trevon Keely started the meet off with a first-place finish in the High Jump for Paton Churdan with a jump of 6-01. The East Sac County Raiders’ Parker Engel broke a school record and meet record Thursday in the 3200 meter run. Engel finished in first place in the 3200 with a run of 10:14.40. IKM-Manning had a handful of first-place finishes Friday. The first one was in an exciting 4×800 race. Lane Sams, Ben Ramsey, Kasche Huehn, and Isaac Blankman ran a time of 8:44.84 for the Wolves. IKM-Manning also picked up a first-place finish in the Distance Medley. Justin Segebart, Max Butler, Tyson Smith, and Lane Sams finished with a time of 3:55.58. Individually, Brock Nattress picked up a first-place finish for South Central Calhoun in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.48.

Coon Rapids-Bayard at Dave Robinson Relays at Nevada

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders traveled to Nevada Friday and walked away with a fourth-place finishes, and five first-place finishes as a team. Caden Oswald won the open 100-meter dash with a run of 11.31. The other individual event champion came from Cal Heydon in the shot put. Heydon took home first with a throw of 46-03.25. The Crusader’s relays were strong on Friday, with three of them finishing in first place. The CRB 4×100 relay of Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Parker Hays, and Caden Oswald ran a time of 45.47, picking up a first-place finish. Lucas Obert, Johnny Cortez, Parker Hays, and Cal Heydon ran a time of 1:04.90 in the Shuttle Hurdle, which was good for first. The last champion on Friday came from the Crusaders 4×200 team. Wyatt Oswald, Kolby Culbertson, Parker Hays, and Caden Oswald ran a time of 1:34.77. The Crusaders are back in action on Monday at Southeast Valley.
