Boys Track Results Monday, April 8th
Audubon, IKM-Manning, Kuemper, South Central Calhoun At Carroll Invite
Carroll was impressive in their home meet on Monday, collecting 104-points to easily outdistancing Ballard, which finished in 2nd place with 81-points. The Tigers had four champions to go with seven individual events in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. They added four relays in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. South Central Calhoun tied with Greene County for 3rd place with 65-points. The Titans had three champions with five individual events in the top 3 and three more in the top 5. The Titans added a relay in the top 5 and a relay in the top 3. IKM-Manning had two championship relays, finishing in 5th place with 54-points. The Wolves had four relays in the top 3 and one more in the top 3 along with two individuals finish in the top 3 and two more in the top 5. Audubon was just behind IKM-Manning with 51-points and a 6th place finish. The Wheelers were balance with four individuals in the top 3 and three relays finish in the top 3. Kuemper had two championships, heling them collect 43-points for 7th place. The Knights had four individuals in the top 3 and one more in the top 5. They added one relay in the top 5.
Ryan North set the tempo early for the Tigers, pulling away in the last 400 meters to win the 3200 Meters in 10:29.67. North added a 1600 Meters title, running a 4:43.75. Reece Ziegmann had their other individual championship, winning the Long Jump with a 20-16.75. Ziegmann was part of their winning relay as well, teaming with Chase Ragaller, Edrik Heisterkamp and Jake Jorgensen to win the 4×200 in 1:34.61. Caleb Vanderheider was 2nd in the Shot Put, Carroll was 2nd in the Distance Medley with Riley Mauro, Carter Essick, Maddox White and Blake Molinsky.
Andrew Anderson paced South Central Calhoun, helping them win three events. Anderson won the High Jump at 6-00 and the 110 Hurdles in 16.89. He was also part of the Shuttle Hurdle team that ran a 1:06.77. He was joined by Kolin Folsom, Hayden Stickrod and Zakiah Pettigrew, who had a strong anchor leg. Pettigrew went 2nd in the 110 Hurdles, giving the Titans a 1st and 2nd in the event.
IKM-Manning took the championship in a pair of relays with Lane Sams, Abe Polzien, Ben Ramsey and Isaac Blankman winning the 4×800 in 8:50.75. They added a Distance Medley title in 3:50.72 with Davis Rasmussen, Ross Kusel, Abe Polzien and Lane Sams. The Wolves took 2nd place in the 4×100 with Davis Rasmussen, Abe Polzien, Max Butler and Ross Kusel.
Audubon didn’t have a champion but were balance in individual events and relays. Aaron Olsen, Mason Steckler, Brody Schultes, and Gabe Jensen were 2nd in the Shuttle Hurdle. Ezekiel Konkler was 2nd in the 800 Meters, Brody Schultes was 2nd in the 400 Hurdles and the Wheelers were 2nd in the 4×400 with Mason Steckler, Ezekiel Konkler, Adam Obrecht and Aaron Olsen.
Evan Adams was a star for Kuemper winning both the Shot Put and Discus. Adams broke his own school record in the Discus, throwing a 184-11. He won the Shot Put with a 50-08. Jacob Greving ran well, taking 2nd in the 3200 Meters and 1600 Meters.

Glidden Ralston and Paton Churdan At SE Valley Invite
Glidden Ralston claimed 7 titles with Paton Churdan winning 3 titles, helping both teams have a strong meet at SE Valley on Monday. The Wildcats finished in 4th place with 86-points with Paton Churdan taking 6th place with 43-points. Glidden Ralston had five individual events in the top 3 with all five as champions, They added two relay titles with three relays in the top 3. Paton Churdan had four individual events in the top 3 with one in the top 5 and one relay finish in the top 5.
Joe Thelin earned a pair of championships, winning the 3200 Meters for Glidden Ralston in 11:59.07 and the 1600 Meters in 5:28.76. Wade Hunter earned a championship in the Shot Put with a 39-06.50, Emmett Snyder paced the 800 Meters in 2:13.40 and Jonathan Bergmeier won the 400 Hurdles in 1:02.72. The Sprint Medley ran a 1:45.49 to win with Wade Hunter, Landon Rohrbeck, Jonathan Bergmeier and Emmett Snyder. They also won the Distance Medley in 4:17.12 with Alex Daniel, Landon Rohrbeck, Jonathan Bergmeier and Emett Snyder. The Wildcats added 2nd place in the 4×400 with Emmett Snyder, Jonathan Bergmeier, Landon Sporrer and Joe Thelin.
Trevon Keely had a great day for Paton Churdan, winning the Long Jump with a 19-05.00, the High Jump at 6-00.00 and the 400 Meters in 58.20. He was 2nd in the 100 Meters.
