The East Sac County Raiders picked up a close win at home Tuesday against West Central Valley. The Raiders started strong as they scored seven minutes into the game. Jordin Carroll passed the ball to Kenna Meyer to make the score 1-0. The East Sac lead grew to 3-0 after Chloe Bieret added two more goals for the Raiders. Bieret completed the hat trick as the first half was winding down. Meyer also added her second goal of the match, and East Sac County would take a 5-1 lead at the half. Meyer recorded her second goal two minutes into the second half as the Raiders held a significant lead of 6-1. The East Sac County defense gave up three goals in the second half, but the Raiders held on to win 6-4. Meyer and Bieret each recorded three goals for East Sac County. Denae Thayer recorded four saves in goal for ESC. With the win, the Raiders improved to 3-1 in the season. East Sac County is back in action next Tuesday against Kuemper.

The Kuemper Knights pick up their first win of the season with a blowout win over Greene County Tuesday at home. It didn’t take long for Kuemper to start scoring as Cierra Pudenz gave the Knights a 1-0 lead just under two minutes into the match. Four minutes later, Mckenna Blum extended the Kuemper lead to 2-0. Pudenz added her second goal with just over 33 minutes left in the first half. Freshman Kalie Hausman added two goals of her own halfway through the first half that kept growing the Kumper lead. The Knights would lead 7-0 at the half. Kuemper started a little slow in the second half. Ten minutes into the half, Ashlyn Foley scored a goal that grew the Knights’ lead to 8- 0. Pudenz completed the hat trick with just over 21 minutes left in the second half, scoring her third goal. Kyra Wolterman ended the match at the 15-minute mark with a goal as the Knights went on to win 10-0 over Greene County.
Kuemper took 38 shots in the match. Cierra Pudenz led the Knights with three goals. Kalie Hausman chipped in two goals. Cailyn Pudenz, Mckenna Blum, Ashlyn Foley, Taylor Boell, and Kyra Wolterman each added one goal. Kuemper’s defense was fantastic all night, allowing only one shot by Greene County. With the win, Kuemper improves to 1-3 on the season. The Knights are back in action on Friday against St. Albert.

The Carroll Tigers fall on the road Tuesday at Logan-Magnolia. Carroll held the lead briefly in Tuesday’s match-up with the Panthers. Carroll came out and scored right away to start the game. Parker Adams continues her great season for the Tigers, picking up the goal to make it 1-0. Logan-Magnolia responded with three goals of their own as they took a 3-1 lead over Carroll. The scorer would remain 3-1 at the half. Carroll held Logan-Magnolia to only two more goals in the second half. The Tigers would fall on the road 5-1 to the Panthers. Carroll was a little banged up on Tuesday, having to play girls at different positions. Marin Overmohle finished with 16 saves for the Tigers in goal. Callie Cummings and Parker Adams had the two lone shots on goal. Adams added the only goal for the Tigers. With the loss, Carroll falls to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday against Ballard.
