The Kuemper Knights ran into a ranked Greene County squad Tuesday, falling to the Rams on the road. Greene County scored two goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead at the half. Kuemper was solid defensvily most of the night. Carsen Kanne scored the lone goal in the game for Kuemepr. Greene County added two more goals in the second half, and the Knights went on to lose 4-1. Michael Kasperbauer recorded nine saves in goal for Kuemper. The Knights are back in action on Thursday against Underwood.

West Central Valley at East Sac County

The East Sac County Raiders are shut out at home as they fall to West Central Valley Tuesday night. The Raiders had opportunities to score in the game but were unable to capitalize. East Sac County’s defense played solid all game. West Central Valley would take a 2-0 lead at the half. West Central Valley added two more goals in the second half and went on to win 4-0 over the Raiders. On the night, ESC had nine shots, five of which were on goal. Luke Wernimont recorded 11 saves in goal for the Raiders. East Sac County is back in action on Tuesday against Kuemper.
