Boys Golf Results For Monday, April 8th

East Sac County at Aurelia Golf Club

The East Sac County Raiders took third place at a triangular Monday. As a team, the Raiders shot a 179. Alta-Aurelia finished in first place with a team score of 157, followed by Manson Northwest Webster, who shot 173. Jack Gullett and Carter Erritt both shot a 44, tied for seventh overall. Braydn Burns finished with the third lowest score for the Raides shoting a 45. Five different East Sac County players finished a round in the 40’s. Jack Bloom of Alta-Aurelia was the medalist, and Lucas Baker of Alta-Aurelia finished as the runner-up. The Raiders are back in action next Thursday against Pocahontas Area.

South Central Calhoun at Emmetsburg

The South Central Calhoun Titans struggled at a quad in Emmetsburg Monday, finishing in fourth. The Titans finished with a team score of 182. Coming in first place was Emmetsburg with a 147. In second was Southeast Valley, shooting 159, followed by GTRA in third place with a round of 166. Grant Householder of Emmetsburg was the overall medalist with a 34. Josh Matheason of Emmetsburg was the runner-up, finishing with a round of 36. Caleb Gaffney had the lowest score of the Titans, finishing with a 39. Charlie Nattress was second on South Central Calhoun, shooting a round of 47. The Titans are back in action on Thursday against Manson Northwest Webster.

Carroll at Boone

The Carroll Tigers traveled to Boone on Monday, finishing in second at a triangular. Ballard ran away in the team standings, finishing with a 153. Carroll came in second with 176 but was closely followed by Boone with a team score of 179. Brady Kruger of Ballard was the medalist, shooting a 36 on Monday. The runner-up was Parker Domino of Ballard, who shot a 38. Will Schultes shot a team low for the Tigers, finishing with a round of 42, which was good for sixth overall Monday. Garrett Blunk and Wyatt Ragaller scored second on the team, shooting a 43. Stone Sibenaller and Moyer Olberding both shot a 48 for the Tigers. Carroll is back in action on Thursday against Winterset and Bondurant-Farrar.

Audubon at Tri-Center

The Audubon Wheelers continue their excellent start to the season as they beat Tri-Center Monday night. As a team, Audubon shot a 165. Tri-Center finished with 182 from the team standings. The Medalist was Edward Miller of Audubon, who shot a 40. Miller was a medalist last week for the Wheelers as well. Henry Burr of Audubon was the runner-up. Burr shot a 41 for the Wheelers. Oliver Diest also shot a 41 for the Wheelers but finished in third due to a tiebreaker. All six Audubon golfers shot in the 40s. The Wheelers are back in action on Friday against IKM-Manning.

The IKM-Manning Wolves pick up a win over Logan-Magnolia Monday, with three Wolves finishing with rounds in the 40s. As a team, IKM-Manning shot a 190. Logan-Magnolia finished with a team score of 209. Miles Nuzback of IKM-Manning was the medalist on Monday, finishing with a 44. Josh Walker of IKM-Manning was the runner-up, shooting a 47. Zander Richards had the third-lowest score for the Wolves, finishing with a 49. IKM-Manning will be back in action against Audubon on Friday.

The Kuemper Knights pick up another win on the season, beating Atlantic at the County Club on Monday. The Knights finished with a team score of 168. Maverick Schwabe was the medalist at Monday’s meet, shooting a 38. The runner-up was Gage Gross of Atlantic, who shot a 40. All six Kuemper golfers shot in the 40s. Carter Putney and Kayden Schon each shot a 43 for the Knights. Dawson Billmeier was fourth on the Kuemper team, finishing with a round of 44. The Knights are back in action on Friday at the Panorama.

CRB and Glidden-Ralston at Atlantic Country Club

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders finished first at the Rolling Valley Conference meet in Atlantic Monday night. Glidden-Ralston finished in fifth out of six teams. CRB finished with a team score of 165. Woodbine finished in second with a team score of 167. Gidden-Ralston shot 201 as a team, which was good for fifth. Logan Kenyon of Coon Rapids-Bayard was the runner-up medalist with a final round of 39. Carson Peters of Glidden-Ralston finished in third for the Wildcats, shooting a 40. Toby Benninger and Gavin Heiderscheit of CRB also shot 40. The Crusaders are back in action on Thursday. Glidden-Ralston returns to the course on Friday at Panorama.
