The Knights picked up a huge win on Friday on the road, edging the Warriors 2-1 in doubles to earn a 5-4 win. The match was extremely tight with the teams tying 49-49 in games won. The Knights went 32-31 in singles play, winning three matches with the closest match at 8-4. They ended doubles 17-18 in games but won two of the matches.
Charlotte Schwabe earned a 8-1 win in singles with Kaylie Simons improving to 2-0 in the number one singles spot picking up a 8-2 win. Sophia Tidgren also improves to 2-0 with an 8-4 win. Tidgren and Brooke Rohe won the number one doubles match 8-6, setting up a huge match with Kaylie Simons and Charlotte Schwabe clinching the team win with an 8-4 win.
The win improves Kuemper to 2-0 on the season as they host Red Oak on Monday.

Audubon opened the season with a competitive road test and played well, falling short against Dallas Center Grimes. The Wheelers earned a win in singles play but fell 8-1. They went 15-46 in singles with Briley Belnap earning an 8-6 win in number two singles. Jordan Porsch played well in her singles match but fell 8-4. The Wheelers were 9-25 in doubles matches with Jordan Porsch and Jasmine Lopez-Huerta nearly earning a win. They fell 9-7 in number three doubles.

The Wheelers went 7-28 in singles with Briley Belnap suffering her first loss in an 8-4 match in number two singles. Joran Porsch earned a pair of wins in her singles match. Audubon finished doubles, 4-24 in games with Grace Zaiger and Briley Belnap playing well in a 8-3 loss in number one doubles.
The Wheelers fall to 0-2 on the season and will travel to Red Oak on Tuesday.
