Kuemper was dominant on the road to start the season on Tuesday, nearly earning a sweep of the Titans. The Knights went 5-1 in singles and swept all three doubles matches. They dominated from the start winning two singles matches 8-0 (Max Reincke and Jake Hausman)  and two others 8-1 (Hans Kraus and Braxton Lu). Josh Langel picked up the Knights other win in singles, winning 8-3. The Knights were 48-14 in games in singles.

The Knights didn’t let up in doubles, having already clinched the match, they swept all three doubles matches with Jake Hausman and Colby Pudenz winning 8-1, Mason Reicks and Landon Pottebaum winning 8-3 and Josh Langel and Hans Kraus earning a 9-8 (9-7) win. Kuemper finished 25-12 in doubles.

Kuemper opened the season 1-0 and will travel to Red Oak on Monday.

Singles 

Christian Jensen of Lewis Central won 9-8 (7-2) over Mason Reicks of Kuemper

Josh Langel of Kuemper won 8-3 over Darren Warner of Lewis Central 

Hans Kraus of Kuemper won 8-1 over Bryson Jensen of Lewis Central 

Max Reincke of Kuemper won 8-0 over Hudson Anderson of Lewis Central 

Jake Hausman of Kuemper won 8-0 over Brodie Smith of Lewis Central 

Braxton Lu of Kuemper won 8-1 over Max Hubbard of Lewis Central 

 

Doubles 

Josh Langle and Hans Kraus of Kuemper won 9-8(9-7) over Christian Jensen and Darren Warner of Lewis Central 

Mason Reicks  and Landon Pottebaum of Kuemper won 8-3 over Bryson Jensen and Max Hubbard of Lewis Central 

Jake Hausman and Colby Pudenz of Kuemper won 8-1 over Leyton Edmonds and Logan Kelly of Lewis Central
