The Kuemper Knights started the season slow with a blowout loss at Lewis Central Tuesday Night. Kuemper’s defense struggled in the first half. Lewis Central scored seven goals in the first half to take a 7-0 lead at the half. In the second half, Kuemper adjusted defensively, but it was not enough as Lewis Central would score three more goals to go on to win 10-0 over the Knights. The Titans controlled the ball most of the game, as Kuemper only got off two shots on the offensive end. With the loss, the Knights fell to 0-1 and 0-1 in the Hawkeye Ten Conference. Kumper is back in action on Thursday against Red Oak.
